Darien Volunteer Fire Department

Since 1895 the Darien Fire Department has relied completely on the volunteers that dedicate their time and energy. Even if you are unable to volunteer as an active member of the department there are many ways to assist the Darien Fire Department. House Members assist the active fire fighters by performing administrative and other tasks such as cooking and mechanical work. Please contact us for more information about joining as an active member or a house member.

The Darien Fire Department relies on donations from local companies and individuals to fund many projects. The department is currently looking to replace Engine 41 which has served the Town of Darien for over two decades. All contributions to the Darien Fire Department are tax deductible. If you are able to contribute to the Darien Fire Department, you may donate online or mail a donation directly to the fire department.
